The new Xwave is a high quality, low voltage, high performance wavemaker for the marine or reef aquarium producing high water flow with a low energy cost
The Xwave pump is the ideal tool for moving high volumes of water at a low running cost within your marine aquarium. Like all stream type pumps the Xwave produces a wide, high volume area of laminar, low pressure waterflow which is gentle on coral tissue compared with the narrow directed jet which is obtained using a high pressure pump nozzle.
All Xwave pumps are controllable and come with a remote power supply which offers 5 selectable speeds as standard.
When used with the multi-controller (available separately) the options are even greater with a choice of funtions to tailor the pump output to your specific requirements.

Xwave Multicontroller
Xwave Multicontroller : A comprehensive controller for Xwave and Stream pumps with built in moonlight fuction and LED
The new Xwave is a high quality, performance wavemaker for the marine or reef aquarium producing high water flow with a low energy cost. This Multi-Controller expands the options for use of the pumps into a whole new world of water movement.
All Xwave pumps are controllable and come with a remote power supply which offers 5 selectable speeds as standard. When used with this multi-controller the options are even greater with a choice of functions to tailor the pump output to your specific requirements.
Pulse Mode:
Produces 30 second cycles of flow at 50% power and then 50% power creating wave surges within the aquarium.
Interval Mode 1:
Controls two separate pumps on alternating cycles between 50% and 100% power over a 150 second repeating cycle
Interval Mode 2:
Controls the two separate pumps on a second different cycle
Random Mode:
This program is set up to use a random output of the pump. An irregular combination can produce turbulent currents. The occurrence of turbulence for a few hours per week is beneficial for the reef aquarium as it simulates the de-sedimentation of the stony structures in the reef zones.
Cycle Mode:
A combination process. This program is set to run from Mode A to Mode D and each mode executes for 30 minutes.
Food Time Mode:
This program is set to stop the pump during feeding. After 8 minutes the system is restored to the previous program. During the feeding mode all the function keys are deactivated. The feeding mode minimises the loss of fish and coral food directly into the filter system
Night Mode:
This program works with the built-in timer. It can run together with all other programs except for Food Time Mode. When the Night Mode is applied and the time is at the preset night time, (see setting of night time), Night Mode will be executed. The pump will operate at 30% output and the Super-Lux LED will switch on until the night period is over. During the Night Mode all the function keys are deactivated.
With the difference between the day and night environments the organisms inside the aquarium can regain their natural biological clock which enhances reproduction and growth.

Oasis I-Tronic Pond Blanket Weed Remover : The Ultimate Electronic Fibrous and Slime Algae Remover
The Oasis I-Tronic blanketweed remover is a revolutionary system that eliminates fibrous and slime algae from your garden pond in a way that is safe for fish and plants.
The core of the I-Tronic blankweed remover consists of an anode, made from a mineral copper alloy, and a stainless steel cathode. By means of the microprocessor controlled display unit, pulses are generated, which are led to the core of the I-Tronic. Through these pulses, positively charged copper ions are released, also known as mineralization. These ions are also referred to as minerals.
In a defined concentration, the ions form a natural barrier against algae. The concentration of copper ions to remove fibrous algae and stop the growth lies between 0.2 and 0.3 PPM.
This is an absolutely safe concentration for people, animals, and plants. For comparison, according to the European drinking water standards, 2 PPM is the maximum allowed for drinking water.
A positive side-effect of using the I-Tronic is that the pond water will be healthy, and it spreads a neutral, fresh scent.
Method of Use :
The Oasis I-Tronic Pond Blanket Weed Remover is an in-line unit designed to fit into the pond hose between the pump and the filter (if using a gravity return type of pond filter) or between the filter and the pond (if using a pressure filter)
It requires connection to a 230-240v Ac supply and should be protected by a suitable Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker
Whilst the in-line unit is weather proof, the display module should be protected from the weather
The copper anode is consumable and should be replaced when necessary or at least once per year at the start of the pond season

Red Sea Reef Base consists of naturally occurring reef sand spheres mixed with aragonite coral chip. The spheres are highly porous calcareous shells of simple protozoa (foraminifers) and bring many benefits to all marine aquariums.
Red Sea Reef Base is an ideal substrate for all marine fish & invertebrate aquariums. Testing has shown that using these substrates will maintain a stable pH and a high buffer capacity over extended periods of time. Furthermore the porosity of the spheres provides an excellent media for both aerobic (nitrifying) and anaerobic (denitrifying) biological filtration.
Red Sea Reef Base Substrate offers the following benefits :

In nature, aquatic plants flourish where the river or lake bottom provides a regular supply of the minerals and organic substances necessary for the vitality of the plants, and where its texture allows the plants to root strongly.
Red Sea Flora Base is a patented, scientifically formulated substrate produced from natural volcanic ash-based soil, sintered with other minerals into a soft, porous, granular structure.
Red Sea Flora Base contains all of the nutrients required by plants for proper development, guaranteeing ideal (natural) conditions for lasting plant growth. Its soft, porous,granular structure is easily penetrated by growing roots, positively anchoring plants to the substrate while providing immediate access to all of the nutrients.

Corals, coralline algae, giant clams, etc., grow their skeletons, shells and other structures by forming calcium carbonate (CaCo2) from the elements that are in the sea water.

The D&D DC Series Aquarium Chillers represent a significant step forward in aquarium cooler engineering, offering state of the art technology at highly competitive prices.
Temperatures in aquaria ranging from 100 to 2000 litres can now be quickly and economically maintained by selecting the correct model from the chillers in the D&D DC range
The heat exchanger is manufactured from high grade pure titanium, making the units suitable for use in either fresh or salt water.
The super silent design results in significantly lower noise levels (quieter than a similar domestic or foreign refrigerator), whilst the digital temperature controller ensures that the selected temperature is maintained
