Tetra PlecoWafers are specifically formulated to meet the needs of fish that prefer to graze on food items, or that are shy and like to feed at night.
They are suitable for all herbivorous fish, especially plecostomus ("suckermouth") catfish. They are also suitable for feeding to other large herbivores, such as Silver Dollars.
PlecoWafers are enriched with vegetable matter to make them ideal for herbivores. In addition, they are made using Tetra´s unique extrusion process, meaning they are easy to eat, yet remain stable in the water for long periods, thus allowing plecostomus to graze naturally.
Ideally, feed only as much as your fish will consume within 20 minutes. If your plecostomus only feed after dark, add PlecoWafers after the lights have been switched off. As a guide, offer one wafer per 10-15cm plecostomus, or break them in half for smaller fish.

Lotus Olympus pumps set a new standard in performance and reliability.
They have been developed to take high volumes of water which contain quantities of solids to either a waterfall or filter without clogging.
Other pumps adapted for this purpose use 'modified' impellers, which reduce the head of water.
The Olympus incorporates a macerating impeller that breaks up the solids enabling them to easily pass through the pump. This system has no detrimental effect on the head so as a consequence the Olympus 10000 can deliver a volume of water up to 5m high making it ideal for larger waterfalls and filters.
The asynchronous motor is sealed for life and incorporates a thermal resetting cut out which protects the pump in the unlikely event it becomes blocked.

- The Hozelock Ecocel filter with the addition of UV clarification, venturi for extra aeration and a fine layer of foam for finer particle removal

Biological Pond Filters
(No Ultra Violet Unit included)
- Water enters the unit via a spray head, which is evenly distributed over a foam sheet
- Solid particles in the water are trapped in a foam sheet
- Almost solids free, the water then passes through plastic bio-media where benficial bacteria cleanse pollutants. The amount of bio-media increases in direct proportion to the size of the filter to support a greater number of fish
- Purified water then passes up an outlet tube and back into the pond
- Viewing hatch to observe the internal operation of the filter, in particular whether any maintenance is needed
